Hidden Traces is inspired by the colors, textures, patterns, and transitions found within the natural world. Upon entering the space the viewer is immersed in a field of deep blues and vibrant greens. Their hands touch paper, the light shifts revealing hidden patterns, their eye catches a glimpse of what lies beyond. They are transported to a glade of calm and serenity, of growth and spread, of discovery and contemplation. Each piece is in conversation with the next -- connected through the use of paper, dyes, printing, and manipulation of form -- encouraging the viewer to wander through the space discovering the hidden details within each piece.
